Young People in Residential Aged Care (YIPRAC)

Accommodation support to young people living in aged care to move in to community based accommodation. The service is aimed at:

  1. moving younger people with disability currently in residential aged care into appropriate supported disability accommodation; where supported disability accommodation can be made available and only if an individual chooses to move.
  2. enhancing the delivery of specialist disability services to those younger people with disability who choose to remain in residential aged care, and if residential aged care remains the only available suitable supported accommodation option.

More information about the Young People in Residential Aged Care can be accessed on: http://www.fahcsia.gov.au/sa/disability/progserv/people/ypdracp/Pages/default.aspx
